Bear with It

I've been an addict to yan's bear that I made a handful of them. Kudos to her. I had some yarn supply from a kind heart lady, Liz to make them. But the bear required quite an amount of yarn too. So I decided to re-engineered the pattern and make the bear into smaller sizes. And here they are .. please bear with it because they are so many of them. You will see what I mean soon.. be very afraid.. LOL!

Today I installed an application that enable me to blog via my phone. I've been looking for this application for a while and I got it now. Yippie! Hope I can blog often now. Yay!

Three Things that Speaks No Language

... and one of them is ART!!!! Well, Crochet is an art. ;) And so, if last time I was buying Japanese books like I can speak Japanese, now I bought Chinese books!!! LOL! Okay, I am half Chinese but I never heard my mom speak any Chinese word (maybe a few - sometimes). So, if you are to ask me, the answer is no, I don't know any Mandarin, Hakka, Hokkien, or Hailam. ;) but I know how to read these books. haha! I bought these 4 Chinese books and 2 English books. :D. I'm on cloud nine! la la la la

I bought these books during a trip to my comfort place on earth - Kinokuniya. :D And here is a few close up .. la la la la.. My heart still singing happily ...

And this is my favourite of all favourite of this batch .. a teddy bear book... *dancing* boom shkalaka boom shakalaka (this is the song I'm listening right now) Yay!

By the way, Does anyone knows the other two things that speak no language? If you do, let me know, will you?

What I did Last Vacation (Part II)

... and so, as you know, the first sort of "yarn bombing" plan had gone to i-don't-know-where. I hope the person who took the pebble really knows what to do with it. That she/he took it because she/he appreciates it. So, the next day, I took another pebble and do this :

..and there it was... until the day we left the resort

What I did Last Vacation

We went to Cherating 4th February 2012 and stayed at the Legend Cherating Resorts for 4 days. It was a fun vacation and I did something... ooops! And here is what I did...

So I took a pebble and make it a suit ... How do you like it .. This is the upper elevation .. :)

And this is the below part. I took the picture with my beloved handphone. So, please mind the quality. It happens sometimes... thee hee hee

And then I put it back to where it belong

It was there when I left it in the evening

...but it was not there the next morning when I check before we went out for breakfast

Stress? Make a Dress

It rhymes eh? thee hee hee.. I am in the middle of 3 stressful weeks... The exam week! woo hoo!!!! .. I have 3 papers to sit for exam.. and three major reports to submit as requirement of each subject. Lucky I only took 3 subjects.. Imagine if I took 5?

And so, it's stressful.. I haven't touch the hook for about a week .. (really?). I missed them so much.. So, after during the first paper, I started a dress!

After I washed and put a flower .. the picture did not do justice to the colour .. :( I took the pictures in a dim light at night with my phone.. :(

Goodbye 2011, Welcome 2012

I had never write a lot before. Actually I want to write longer for this entry but I don't know, let's just see. ;)

Today is the last Friday of 2011, 30th December. Another day and it's New Year of 2012. 2011 taught me loads of things. About life, about love, about happiness, about sadness, fear, joy, friendship, and the list will never end. Maybe I just recap some big events happened to me in 2011 that makes me move forward to 2012 (not in particular order).

1. I got a new boss. A lady boss. She's a bossy as a boss can be. At first I thought it was her who makes my day a hell at work. But someone told me that it's me who has the power to make the day bright and happy.With this, I learnt that happiness lies inside us; but where we are do contributes. ;)

2. I was sick and warded for almost 2 weeks. God knows how painful it was and how scary it's been to have to be in the operation theater for 3 times in 10 days time. With it I learn that Allah listens. And He is Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim. With it too, I learnt about human character. I met the loving, the caring, the selfish, almost everybody and I learnt where I was in some of people I called "important".

3. I was featured in an article in one of leading English newspaper in Malaysia - the Star. My hobby that I love so much - Amigurumi has been acknowledged. With that, I found new friends, I found self confident, I got inspirations and I am happy. :D. I was featured in the same newspaper again recently, on "personalised presents". No face but the thoughts was publish. Makes me want to speak out more and contribute.

4. I took action to what I've been wanting to do all these while - pursuing my study. September 5th was the day I register for my Master Degree and I'm struggling right now (age factor - LOL) and I found that I love learning. I love the knowledge and I started to wonder if I had enough knowledge doing my work all these 13 years.

5. I went to a school reunion. I always had inferiority complex - that's what I always said about myself. I feel embarrassed to meet my classmates, the other kids from other class, I don't know why. But things happened and I was COINCIDENTALLY being at the resort ON the very day the reunion was planned. Actually I planned not to attend but hey! there I was. I learnt that I'm not bad at all. I am good and all my fears are nonsense.

6. I lost a friend to ovarian cancer. She was a joyous friend until the very end. She even laugh and make me laugh during her most painful time. Let's pray for her; may she be blessed. I learn that life life is short and I have to live it to the fullest.

7.All and all, I am happy and blessed with my family; loving husband and three kids that keep me busy and occupied. They make me feel important.

.. and so, for 2012, I wish:

1. I can express myself more in writing, verbal and through my crafts.

2. I want to cherish every moment I have, enjoy every second of the day, being off the office and do what I love to do.

3. I can fulfill some of my dreams that I wrote in my private journal.

4. I can knit ;)

5. Most of all, I am blessed with health and happiness and loved.

Non Fiber Entry

:D About last week we went to Taiping; a place I keep so close in my heart because here is where I learn to grow up. I was schooling here for five years and there's a lot of memory involved of course.. And so, I walked down the memory lane ... after 20 years leaving the main gate
